In 1961.... this educational tradition begins from BTC - Bharath Tutorial College. Our founder Mr.I.John Stephen M.A.(triple) tremendously dedicated his life to create awareness about the importance of education among down trodden people and rural area students, by developing their basic English knowledge. On those days all the dropouts in school level are because of fear about the language English and English Grammer. Our founder taught basic grammer through our mother tongue. By this dedicated approach we grab good reputation in-and-around Virudhunagar and Tirunelveli districts.

Angel Polytechnic College

Now in the academic year 2011-2012 we are establishing a new institution again to promote the village students in technical way by name "Angel Polytechnic College". 'No Dropouts' - after 10th and +2 level - once again we are dedicated to this slogan.

We are proud that the governing body consists of eminent educationist, technologists from all parts of the world as well as in our India and Professors of the renowned Universities. The team of promoters of this Polytechnic College have a wide experience in the field of education as well as in engineering and technology for more more than two decades.

Mission and Vision

Our Polytechnic College is committed in helping the students to develop their inner potentials, deepen their confidence, unity and creativity, to accept themselves and respect others; to take up responsibility combined with freedom and to have good technical education and training. The Management, Principal and the team of faculty work strenously to achieve their aims.

We make the students reflect their capacity in technical and industrial activities, not only in campus interview and in self employment point of view also. This makes the student feel where he stands. We are determined to develop this Polytechnic College with a lot of various modern equipments, machineries and software tested and proved to be the best by internationally renowned experts and scientists. Our college is accessible to all strats of society. "By worth not by birth" is the keynote. Our ideals are based on secularism, are of the basic principles of our constitution.
